"Thief Island" is another mural sized painting that was inspired by Mark's love for the rugged coastal area in Maine. Thief Island is one of many islands that hug the coast of Maine. This large painting is one of many paintings of seascapes that Mark has done of Muscongus Bay. Thief Island and many of the other islands in the midcoast area of Maine are owned by the Maine Island Trail Association. These islands are frequented often by kayakers who come in groups to camp on these pristine jewels of the sea. Mark's mural sized paintings gives a person the perspective of almost being there.
