'Island Light' SOLD This painting is from Franklin Island in Muscongus Bay. Franklin Island is owned by the Coast Guard. Franklin Island is also a bird sanctuary and is closed to the public from April to the first of September. We wait for a warm day in September and take a picnic lunch. Franklin Island is home to many osprey. It is very enjoyable to watch the many birds on this island. A true gift to this Maine artist and mural artist. |
