'McFarland Shores' McFarland Shores is just down the road from where we live in New Harbor. The small island in the picture is called Thompson Island. One of Mark's favorite subjects to paint is the different coastlines of Maine. This scene shows a different view at high tide. At low tide the rocky coast is exposed.
