'The Wharf' Monhegan Island, Maine
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery; Today is a gift, that is why it is call the present. The present will be past after we blink. The town landing on Monhegan Island is changing. It no longer looks like the scene in this oil painting by Mark Chesebro, of New Harbor, Me. Pictures tell a story, and the one in "The Wharf" is that certain paintings can freeze time forever so that the present, which becomes the past, will not fade away from our memories. A moment in time is worthy of capturing on canvas, immortalizing it forever.
